Soon-Young Yoon newly elected First Vice-President of CoNGO

Soon-Young Yoon is newly elected as First Vice-President  of CoNGO  (The Conference of NGOs in consultative relations with the UN) for 2014 to 2017.
Her role is to act in the place of the President (Cyril Richards) as required on the American side of the Atlantic and to help support the membership including the substantive committees.
Soon-Young sees her new responsibility as “added value” to her current role as UN main representative for the IAW and Chair of one of the committees.
“My focus remains on our collective work looking forward to Beijing + 20 and the Post-2015 High Level Political Forum in July and GA session”, says Soon-Young
